Printed Pop Up Gazebos Helpful Advice

Printed Pop Up Gazebos Helpful Advice Printed pop up gazebos have become extremely popular as more and more businesses and manufacturers are looking to reach out to their customers by appearing at shows and exhibitions around the country. Not only does a pop up gazebo give you and your product a highly visible advertising platform but it also provides you with shade and shelter from the elements.
Choosing the correct pop up gazebo is essential to ensuring that you have a stress and trouble free event. Our advice is always to buy the strongest model you can, regardless of how often you intend to use it as you won\'t be able to predict the conditions that you will be faced with on the day or days of your show. Once you have selected your gazebo then set aside a budget for printing and branding.
Check out some of our previous blogs, “What is the best pop up gazebo” and “Mini Marquees the LP Tent XP and ZP Marquees” for information and look in regularly for information updates.

This brings us on to the subject of printing and branding pop up gazebos.
Many of our competitors like to treat printing and branding as a “Black Art” so here we will try to unravel the art and turn it into a science!

There are really only 2 methods of printing available – Screen Printing and Digital Printing

1 Screen Printing – this method involves making a screen or set of screens (on for each colour) and then applying the ink through the screens to create your logo. Our new screen printing machines are very effective and can now give a much greater density to the colours than ever before.
Screen printing is particularly effective when you have a single colour logo and where the logo will be the same size across all your printing. Where it is less effective is when you have a range of different logos and multiple colours. The more you use the logo the more you spread the cost of making the screens and so the lower the cost per print becomes. As an example, if you have a single colour logo applied to all 4 valances of your pop up gazebos and have say over 5 gazebos to print.

2 Digital Printing – This method involves printing either directly on to the gazebo fabric or on to a material which is then heat pressed into the fabric or in the case of PVC cold pressed on to the fabric. This method allows you to print in full colour up to photographic level and can accommodate all the gradients, fills and drop shadows that modern designers love. The downside of this method is that each print will cost the same as the first no matter how many times it is printed. This method of printing pop up gazebos is ideal for short runs or single units. Ideal where you only want your logo and some text say on a front roof peak and a valance and a few walls.
We can also print your entire pop up gazebo from top to bottom using our Flood Printing method which we will cover in another blog.
One point to remember when looking at logo printing is the shape of the surface you are printing on. On a 3x3mtr pop up gazebo each of the roof peaks forms a triangle which tapers from 3mtrs at the valance to 0mtrs at the peak. Round, square and triangular logos fit in this space easily but rectangular logos are less successful.

Ok that\'s enough for now – later we will cover Flood Printing and outline the available sizes and files needed. In the meantime please feel free to contact us on 01786 449519 or info@popup-gazebo.com with any questions you may have.
