Gazebos and Awnings at the Highland Games

Highland Fun and Games the LP way.
The first Sunday in August is usually the date for the Strathallan Games, set in the beautiful spa town of Bridge Of Allan. This is one of Scotlands finest gatherings. Over 50 massed pipe bands, athletics, cycling, heavy weighs (tossing the caber) ect, wrestling, highland dancing are to be seen in the Games Park, and LP Tent is on hand to help things run smoothly.
The kilted dancers are a well attended spectacle, but for many Strathallan attendees, the most memorable of all the events at the games is the massing of the pipe bands. Normally held in conjunction with the opening and closing ceremonies of the games, as many as 50 pipe bands will march and play together. Originally founded in 1852, today’s Strathallan Games boasts a wide variety of other activities and events which are generally available. The funfair is in town for the week providing thrills and spills. There are also the clan tents and vendors of Scottish goods and foodstuffs, often under the shelter of a modern LP Tent, whose colourful Gazebos and awnings add to the wonderful holiday atmosphere.
