Pop Up Gazebos

gazebo 1 There are many gazebos available on the market today - different shapes, sizes, colours and qualities - the old-fashioned frame type gazebo and the more modern instant or pop up gazebos. The older style gazebos are awkward and time-consuming to erect and can be far less sturdy than their pop up counterparts. Prices range from under £200 to well over £2000 so how do you know which gazebo to buy?

You can divide them into two categories - professional gazebos and occasional-use or domestic gazebos. These will both be covered in the following sections.

Professional Gazebos

professional gazebo Professional gazebos are made of extremely sturdy construction and are designed to provide robust short-term shelter and protection from the elements. The frames of professional gazebos are made from high-grade steel and are designed to last for many years.

The covering used on professional gazebos are again made from high quality fabric and are much better at retaining heat and keeping out weather than lower grade domestic gazebos.

Domestic Gazebos

Pop up gazebos used in the garden are much cheaper than professional ones but then they are not designed to last as long or to withstand quite the same abuse as the more robust professional pop up gazebos.

Construction of domestic gazebos is from light-weight materials - light fabrics and light metal frames. This makes them ideal for transportation and less bulky so they take up less space in your shed or car boot.
